Non posso credere di averlo snobbato così. In questo racconto si dimostra come la verità si scontri con la realtà e le percerzioni. Quinn è un'emarginata, e vive la sua vita ignorata dal padre e tormentata a scuola. La causa di tutto sono delle foto in cui la si vede chiaramente tradire il suo ragazzo di sempre, Carey. Carey è un eroe, un ragazzo ben voluto e se tutto ciò non bastasse è lontano in guerra. Ma niente è come sembra. Quinn ci insegna cosa voglia dire la lealtà e il coraggio e ci dimostra quanto lontano possiamo arrivare per le persone che amiamo. In un modo sommerso dall'egoismo e da cinismo, la freschezza di questa ragazza mi ha lasciato senza fiato. Non so che altro dire a parte leggetelo, se non lo fate vi perdete una storia davvero perfetta. 5 stelline, se ce ne fossero 6, gli darei 6 stelline.
